So I saw there were no topics in this category so I thought we could discuss why it was important that we worm them before and after breeding and kidding

If you use safeguard you should worm AT LEAST 3 days with 5 being optimum at 1cc per 10 pds. I realize that the label says like 1 cc per 40 but safeguard is a knock-off of Pancur and should be dosed like so. This is what I was told by some very knowledgable vets

well i couldn't think of another one because i use Ivometin and there's a lot of controversy using it on pregos. and is that 3-5days in a row or with a time between.

It is 3-5 days straight
Ivomec is 1cc per 50 pounds then repeat in 10-14 days

Cydectin is a safe one in A LOT of vets opinions but really pregnant does should only be wormed in case of a Have to situation
