So as you may know i have a few high and low percentage Boers and I was wondering if any one out there had any preferences of a %boer that helps them really stand out. what cross of breeds makes the best market animal? i have 3 Boer/Alpines 2 Boer/Kikos 4 almost true Boers then of course i still have one Alboermy (which i must say is getting large and thick)

I have a Boer/Alpine cross as my market project this year. He is 75% Boer 25% Alpine. He was born January 2nd and is MASSIVE! He was the BIGGEST (by far!!!) at my market goat weigh in. He is one nice looking fella. As of May 1st he was 67 pounds! And they have to weigh 50 by fair! But I really like his structure! He should've been left a % buck, imo. And he is big and meaty. But not fat, just muscley. I love him! Will someone come to my fair and buy him back for me? ??

Um that is a hard one for me...... I like all the goats but my true love is the dairy ones.
But as far as the market goes I like a 50% kiko and 50% boer most of the time. They have the nice length and height and you can usually get them to weigh out great. I had a 50-50 beat a purebred boer in the market classes last year.
But like I said Im not really for sure. All depends on what you are looking for I guess. LOL
