Well up in the general goat talk area, I told you all about how we came to have this goat. She is unreg but we are working on getting her registered as NOA. We named her Antique Lace. Lacey for short. Yes the doeling she replaced was Lacey but somehow that name just seemed to fit. She is often called LaceyII. Here are a couple of pics of her the day she arrived. and here is a pic of her after several days here It might just be me, but I think she is looking better already. We just love her. She is what made switching to LaManchas so easy. She is so quiet for one. Even when she is being noisy, she is quiet, lol. She is also incredibly sweet and calm. I am looking forward to our LaMancha herd and inproving it over time.

Thanks. I like her color too. She is probably a goat that will always be here. I know it doesn't make sense to keep her permnantly if I want to raise PB LaManchas, but I don't always make sense. So she will be the one recorded gade and her doelings can be sold to become family milkers.

I just thought I would update this thread. I shaved all of the goats because of the heat last week and I though I would post updated pictures of Lacey. This was taken two or three weeks ago These were taken the same day she was shaved.
